Mound Prairie Cemetery
In approximately 1953, the Village of Twin Lakes obtained from Randall Township, the Mound Prairie Cemetery. Not much history is known, but some records indicate that some of the first burials date back to the late 1600’s. Several Civil War Veterans, Ice House workers and long family lineage’s occupy the Cemetery.
The Village owns, operates, and maintains the grounds with a whole new section having just recently opened up. Please contact the Village Hall at (262) 877-2858, for more information regarding the cemetery.
