OR TWIN LAKES RECYCLING CENTER FROM APRIL TO NOVEMBER ON THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE: Wednesdays 10:00am to 2:00pm; Saturdays 8:00am to 3:00pm; Sundays 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Burning is discouraged by the Village of Twin Lakes and the Department of Natural Resources but may
be used as an alternative.
Burning by ordinance: April 1 - June 1 and October 1 - November
15 (9am to 3pm), or call the Fire Chief - via the Police Department 877-9056.
BURNING IS PROHIBITED IN DITCHES OR DRAINAGE WAYS, ON PAVEMENT, OR IN BARRELS.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM
When information becomes available on the 2007 Hazardous Waste Program, it will be posted here. Questions may be directed to the Village Hall at 262-877-2858.
TO: Apartment and Commercial Businesses:
GARBAGE ENCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS - 8.12.021- All dumpsters or garbage cans and/or waste containers of any type used at or by all commercial developments, residential, multi-family, and business locations shall have a cover and/or covering such as a canvas or tarp cover, tied down so as not to allow animals and/or rodents to enter containers or dumpsters and so that foul odors or fumes may not come forth from them except during filling or emptying of said dumpsters, garbage cans or containers.
