SEWER OPERATOR (FULL TIME)

The Village of Twin Lakes (population 6,050) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sewer Operator.  This position reports to the Head Sewer Operator and is responsible for maintenance of pumps, sewer equipment, and building maintenance.  The Sewer Operator is expected to have strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.  High school diploma and 3 years of equipment maintenance/mechanical experience required.  Starting Salary: $46,426.43 plus an excellent benefit package.  Occasional weekend and holiday work required.  Applicants must submit a resume and job application form (below in red) to Village Administrator Jennifer Frederick at frederick@twinlakeswi.net.  A job description can be found here.  Position open until filled.

HEAD SEWER OPERATOR (FULL TIME)

The Village of Twin Lakes (population 6,050) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head Sewer Operator.  This position reports to the Village Administrator and is considered a department head- level position.  The Head Sewer Operator is expected to have strong knowledge wastewater treatment operations and has obtained Advanced Operator certifications in WWTP operations from the WI DNR.    High school diploma and 10 years of sewer experience or combination of experience and education required.  Starting Salary: $71,061 plus an excellent benefit package.  Occasional night, weekend and holiday work required.  Applicants must submit a resume and job application form (below in red) to Village Administrator Jennifer Frederick at frederick@twinlakeswi.net.  A job description can be found here.  Resumes and applications must be submitted by January 7, 2019 with an anticipated start date on or before February 1, 2019.

MAINTENANCE FOREMAN- PUBLIC WORKS (FULL TIME)

The Village of Twin Lakes (population 6,050) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Foreman.  This position reports to the Village Administrator and is a department head-level position.  This position is responsible for supervising three laborers and seasonal staff as well as coordinating all operations of the department including cemetery, recreation, streets, parks, lake and building maintenance.  The Maintenance Foreman is expected to have strong knowledge of public works operations and related equipment.  High school diploma and 7 years of equipment maintenance or related experience required.  Salary range: $53,548-66,953 plus an excellent benefit package.  Occasional night, weekend and holiday work required.  Applicants must submit a resume and job application form (below in red) to Village Administrator Jennifer Frederick at frederick@twinlakeswi.net.  A job description can be found here.  Position open until filled with first review of resumes on January 2, 2019 with an anticipated start date on or before February 5, 2019.

BUILDING INSPECTOR (FULL TIME)

The Village of Twin Lakes (population 6,050) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Full Time Building Inspector.  This position assists with handling all building inspection and permitting services as well as performs code enforcement activities.  Experience in construction trades desired.  During off-season, the Full Time Building Inspector will assist with Public Works functions as needed.  The Full Time Building Inspector must be licensed by the State before performing any inspections.  Wage range is $67,319-72,156 if fully certified.  Starting rate may be lower if do not hold all residential certifications at time of employment.  The hired Building Inspector may move up in pay as additional certifications are attained.  Applicants must submit a resume and job application form (below) to Village Clerk Laura Roesslein at info@twinlakeswi.net.

ELECTION INSPECTOR (PART TIME- ELECTION DAY ONLY)

The Village of Twin Lakes is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming involved in the election process to serve as Election Inspectors. Duties include issuing ballots to registered voters, registering voters, monitoring the voting equipment, explaining how to mark ballots and use the voting equipment, processing absentee ballots and gathering forms/equipment after the polls close. Applicants will be provided with paid training by the Village Clerk’s office as well as $9/hour for each election worked. Applicants must be Kenosha County residents and not be a candidate for any office to be voted on at the polling place at that election.
