LAKE EDUCATION ASSISTANT
The Village of Twin Lakes is looking to hire two Part Time Seasonal Lake Education Assistant positions. Through a DNR grant, the Village is able to hire attendants to monitor the boat launches on Lake Mary and Lake Elizabeth. These attendants survey boaters on their practices and help spread educational awareness about best boating practices to minimize the risk of spreading invasive species to our lakes. This position sits at the boat launch in 4 hour shifts, polls boaters and records the results of their survey questions. The Attendant reminds boaters to remove seaweed from their boat trailer, drain live well water, etc. This position earns $10/hour and covers 4 hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. ELECTION INSPECTOR (PART TIME- ELECTION DAY ONLY)
The Village of Twin Lakes is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming involved in the election process to serve as Election Inspectors. Duties include issuing ballots to registered voters, registering voters, monitoring the voting equipment, explaining how to mark ballots and use the voting equipment, processing absentee ballots and gathering forms/equipment after the polls close. Applicants will be provided with paid training by the Village Clerk’s office as well as $9/hour for each election worked. Applicants must be Kenosha County residents and not be a candidate for any office to be voted on at the polling place at that election.
