Lance Park was built on land donated to the Village of Twin Lakes by the Lance family from Kenosha, WI around 1960. The land originally had two summer homes on the site. One was taken down, the other was repaired and made into a Scout House until it burned down in 1968. A new scout house was built in 1969 and remains on the site today.

The site contains basketball, a boat launch, a beach, and a waterfront amphitheater and small stage

The newly constructed amphitheater in Lance Park is also the home of the Aquanuts Water ski show, which you can see every Wednesday and Saturday at 6:00 PM for free.
