Twin Lakes Rescue will be following protocols setup by our Medical Control as far as our response to ALL EMS calls.
That includes ALL rescue personnel wearing surgical masks to all EMS calls from a stubbed toe to a heart attack.
This is precautionary to avoid our personnel from contracting the virus, so we can stay up and running.
We will also be making sure our patient is wearing a mask to protect our personnel and also themselves in the event we must transport to a medical facility.
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS DOES NOT MEAN PEOPLE WE ARE TRANSPORTING ARE INFECTED BY THE VIRUS THESE ARE THE STEPS PUT IN PLACE TO INSURE WE ARE NOT INFECTED AT SOME POINT AND TO KEEP EMS SERVICE RUNNING SMOOTHLY AS IT CURRENTLY IS.
Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue is committed to keep providing the same service our communities have come to expect!!
